SYNYO created a dedicated Learning Management System (LMS) that can be used for tutorials, online courses, MOOCs (Massive Open Online Course) or webinars. Due to the application of embedded and leading LMS solutions, the smart web solution of SYNYO allows to integrate innovative applications into platforms such as the SecureHospitals.eu Online Platform.

The Learning Management System of SYNYO, that integrates established third-party solutions, provides an online learning content management solution for all relevant features to create a fully functional online learning platform that includes not only MOOCs but also further assets such as quizzes, certificates, advanced course management and its unique and easy to use course creator called “course builder”. These additional assets can be customised depending on the needs and requirements of future users and applications.

Courses Management: Pricing, course information (e.g. duration), number of allowed students, how course results will be assessed, and other course related information can be set in the Course Management feature of SecureHospitals.eu. Each setting is accompanied by tooltips, enabling a quick and simple understanding of the function and meaning of each setting.

Course Certificates: Upon completing a course, a course certificate can be obtained by the learner or course participant. Course certificates can be created and designed via the course management backend. The administrator that created the course can choose several criteria that must be fulfilled until the certificate can be obtained, such as a minimum point count or the completion of a certain quiz.

Course Statistics: Administrators with associated rights can generate excel sheets that provide an insight of the course participation as well as quiz related data such as points reached per participant and time spent on each quiz by each participant.

Community Module: The course participants can register on the Community Module. The module facilitates interactive learning (peer-to-peer and peer-instructor interactions) and provides access to additional material and knowledge sources.
